A beautiful Antique Ingraham Oak Gingerbread Parlor Clock dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Crafted by the E. Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol, Connecticut, this Victorian mantel clock features an intricately carved solid oak case with pressed scrollwork, finials, and classic gingerbread detailing.
The clock has been tested and is running, with its 8‑day mechanical time and strike movement operating properly. It includes its brass pendulum bob and double‑ended winding key.
The front glass is fully intact and features an ornate lower panel with gold stencil filigree. The dial is a clean E. & J. Swigart replacement plate, a historically accurate upgrade commonly used by clockmakers to restore clarity to worn original faces. Roman numerals remain crisp and readable, with minor age‑related spotting near the winding arbors.
This is a strong example of American Victorian horology—ideal for a mantel, entryway, or period interior.
