Mounted on heavy, raw-cut onyx and stone bases, these pieces display classic 1970s studio metalworking technique with sweeping brass sails, delicate rigging, and flame-cut edge detailing.
Sculpture & Signature Breakdown:
1 Curtis Jeré Sculpture: Features flame-cut, darkened edge detailing on the sail and a brass seagull in flight. Signed "Jere" in sweeping script on the lower corner of the sail.
2 DeMott Sculptures: Classic brass sails on raw onyx blocks. Both pieces are signed "© DeMott" by the artist (one signed on the stone base, one on the brass sail).
1 Sculptura Sculpture (Largest): Features large dual brass sails and a brass flag. Unsigned on the surface, but retains its original foil maker's label on the bottom of the onyx base reading "Sculptura - Made in USA - Bellflower, CA 90706".
