Up for sale is a stunning, authentic matching pair of mid-century modern stationary executive armchairs with exceptional regional provenance. Manufactured in the 1950s by the Gregson Manufacturing Company (Liberty, NC), these pieces were originally distributed and sold through the historic Horne Desk & Fixture Company showroom located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Finding an intact pair with matching custom job stamps is incredibly rare. This set serves as an absolute time capsule for collectors of Southern corporate history, Mid-Century Modern (MCM) furniture, or upscale industrial office design.

Built to withstand commercial contract standards, each chair features a solid walnut frame, elegant steam-bent wooden armrests, and hand-hammered brass tack detailing securing the original top-grain leather upholstery.

Excellent vintage condition. Both solid walnut frames are structurally rock-solid, showing only very minimal, age-appropriate surface scuffs on the lower legs and arm edges. The original ginger brown leather is supple and remains beautifully preserved with just very light, minor creasing from gentle historical use. There are no deep cracks, rips, or holes, and all original brass tacks are perfectly intact across both pieces. The undercloth is in superb condition. Remarkably, the original, clear, pristine factory paper tags remain fully attached underneath, completely validating their history for collectors. See less
