It features minor, historic traces of white fence-paint overspray and exposed industrial metal joins (JB-Weld bonding) from its restoration. These elements are left visible to intentionally celebrate the rugged, brutalist charm of the repurposed artistry. * Structural Support: The foundational Mirafone base features historic weathering and rust. To provide further standalone structural stability outdoors, it has been reinforced and stabilized using a heavy duty wrought iron stand with an internal piping support as the modified base. Sturdily anchored, it's ready to be placed directly into your landscape, rock garden, or patio setting. The Restoration Process: • Complete Cleaning and a Mineral Spirits washdown • Protective coating of TREWAX with Brazilian Carnauba for long-term outdoor durability • The top two instruments were conditioned with an oil-based deep stain then sealed with a premium 3-coat marine application of Helmsman Warm Satin for maximum UV and water resistance • Its rich, authentic green-and-brown vintage patina was intentionally preserved to maintain character, rather than stripping it to raw brass • New submersible pump installed (correct pumping range with 5 adjustable flow settings) • Includes 10-ft of new heavy-duty vinyl tubing for accessible pump placement • Ready for immediate installation. Shipping & Handling Note: This 74-inch kinetic fountain consists of two primary components for safer transit: the custom musical instrument fountain body (approx. 100 lbs) and a heavy-duty wrought iron support base (approx. 50 lbs). The pieces can separate to allow for easier white-glove loading, transport, and setup. Professional in-home/freight delivery is highly recommended due to the size and weight, but local pickup is gladly welcomed in the Palm Beach/Delray Beach, Florida area. less
