Striking vintage sculptural armchair by Milling Road, a division of Baker Furniture, dating to the late 20th century and designed in a Chinoiserie-inspired traditional style.
The chair features a beautifully shaped mahogany-tone frame with a dramatic continuous curved back and arms, decorative pierced interlocking splats, elegant scroll-form details, and turned and reeded front legs terminating in brass casters. Beneath the removable cushion is an attractive woven cane seat that adds another layer of craftsmanship and texture.
The loose seat cushion is upholstered in a colorful botanical and fruit-patterned fabric featuring rich shades of green, burgundy, plum, coral, gold, and cream.
