A striking B&B Italia Metropolitan lounge chair and matching ottoman, designed by Jeffrey Bernett and purchased new in 2006.
This is the larger, exceptionally comfortable Metropolitan relaxation chair, upholstered in white leather and set on B&B Italia's elegant, bright brushed-aluminum swivel base. The chair includes its original adjustable headrest, lumbar pillow, and matching ottoman, creating a complete and increasingly difficult-to-find set.
The Metropolitan is distinguished by its sculptural silhouette, with the seat flowing continuously into the sweeping armrests. The high back, adjustable headrest, lumbar cushion, and generously proportioned ottoman make it as comfortable as it is visually striking.
