The medallions are rendered in soft abrash blues and pinks, creating a beautifully weathered, time-worn aesthetic of subtle expressiveness. A rust-red border surrounds the field, decorated with charming tribal motifs that highlight the artisan's attention to detail. The softened palette of pale blue, green, pink, and rust red, and the naturally aged character give this rug a timeless appeal. The Karajeh village north of Tabriz produced rugs distinguished by their characteristic three-medallion column format and a palette that often features sought-after green and abrash color combinations.
