Rust-red corner spandrels and a small central medallion create balance and visual harmony, while a deep navy border with geometric florets in soft green, yellow, blue, and cream frames the composition with elegance. Pistachio green — whether used in the border or, as here, as the primary field color — is the signature and most coveted design element of the finest Farahan village weavings, and its use as the main field color makes this piece exceptionally rare within the tradition.
