Handsome and substantial Bronson Bookcase with Doors, finished in the deep Heritage Black colorway. This discontinued Pottery Barn design combines the presence of a traditional library cabinet with clean, versatile proportions suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
The upper cabinet features two glass-paneled doors with divided-light detailing, opening to generous display and book storage. Below are two wide drawers fitted with antique-bronze-tone drop handles, providing concealed storage. The restrained black finish allows subtle traces of the underlying wood tone to show through at some edges, giving the piece a gently aged, collected appearance.
Pottery Barn constructed the Bronson with a solid mahogany frame and solid mahogany/mahogany-veneer shelving. The original manufacturer's label remains affixed to the piece and identifies SKU 1834605, with an August 2015 production date and manufacture in Indonesia.
Pottery Barn identifies SKU 1834605 in its product records as the Bronson Bookcase with Doors (40"), matching this piece's 40"W × 16.5"D × 65"H dimensions.
A particularly useful piece for a library, living room, office, dining room, or bedroom, where it can serve equally well as a bookcase, display cabinet, or handsome closed-storage piece.
