The desk has a stamp on the inside of the top left drawer for Conent Ball, it has parttially worn off. It's an easy look up to confirm.
It looks like a previous owner had a piece of glass or plexiglass on it to protect the wood. There are circles in each corner from what I assume was made from felt or such used with the glass. I've included a photo.
There is a pic of the low left side which is an easy fix, needs glue and a clamp to close where the wood has separated a smidge.
Overall it is in good condition and a beautiful desk.
