Absolutely stunning vintage mahogany Hepplewhite-style serpentine sideboard buffet manufactured by the prestigious Mayflower Colonial Shops, Inc. of Boston, Mass. This is a bench-made, heirloom-quality piece featuring incredible New England craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
It features a classic Federal-era design with a dramatic, gracefully curved serpentine front, constructed from rich, deep flame mahogany veneers and solid secondary woods. The slender square-tapered legs are accented with elegant, light-colored wood contrast inlay banding (cuff collars) near the feet.
