I’m pleased to offer for sale an extraordinary antique armoire, rich in detail and history. This armoire is a true statement piece, suitable for a variety of interiors. For those who value the artistry of fine furniture, this piece stands out as truly one of a kind.

The level of detail in the wood carving is exceptional — intricate, abundant, and unlike anything I’ve seen available in the United States. The craftsmanship is superb. We acquired it over 40 years ago from The Best of France, a well-regarded antique dealer in Lambertville, New Jersey. According to the dealer, it was acquired from the French Ambassador to Austria. It was said to be made in the late 19th Century or early 20th Century.

There is only one reason I would part with such a treasure: Our new home simply doesn’t have the space to accommodate it.

Measurements:
• Height: 98” (plus 6” with finials)
• Width: 97”
• Depth (center section): 24”

The center section houses a rare triple mirror with beaded lighting, adding both elegance and function.

Construction & Assembly:
The armoire disassembles into five main sections:
• One top section
• One bottom section
• Three upright sections, each detachable

The sections fit together securely using dowels — no nails were used in the original construction, except for securing the mirrors. This traditional joinery not only speaks to the quality of the piece but also makes transport and shipping considerably easier.
