Add a touch of retro intrigue and warm atmospheric lighting to your mantle, sideboard, or bar with this authentic 1950s Mid-Century Modern ceramic TV lamp.
Uniquely sculpted in the form of a Spanish Galleon (reminiscent of the Santa Maria), this piece features a rich, deep chocolate brown glazed ceramic body accented by hand-painted gold scrollwork and trim. The molded sails prominently display the historic "Lion and Castle" crest, while the bow is detailed with a winged figurehead.
Designed in the 1950s to sit atop console televisions and cast a soft ambient backlight, it doubles as a sculptural accent piece when unlit. Equipped with its original brown cord and green felt foot pads on the underside to protect fine furniture surfaces.
