A very old, … Read more We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely hand carved Victorian Ebonised and Giltwood library bookcase. A very old, well made and period piece, the carving is very ornate and follows over to the side panels depicting flowers. The piece has the original ebonising with gold gilt detailing, the glass is the original water glass so it has that wonderful wavy look and feel in the right light In terms of the condition, it is lovely, really very nice, we have cleaned waxed and polished it, naturally it has a very period finish, one of the glass panes has two cracks, tricky to see as it's on the papered section Dimensions Height:- 209.5cm top to bottom, 185.5cm not include top carved panel Width:- 154cm Depth:- 39cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point,.
