Step back into early 20th-century American craftsmanship with this stunning antique Arts & Crafts period table lamp, dating to circa 1915–1925. Masterfully executed in the iconic style of the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company, this lamp features a panoramic, hand-painted winter homestead landscape that wraps continuously around the entire shade.

Hand-Painted "Chipped-Ice" Glass Shade
The heavy domed glass shade is a beautiful example of the historic reverse-painting technique, where the artist hand-applied layers of paint directly onto the interior surface of the glass. The scene features a cozy snow-covered cabin nestled among deep drifts and towering pine trees against rolling winter hills. The exterior of the glass features a subtle, acid-etched "chipped-ice" frosted texture, specifically engineered a century ago to diffuse internal light evenly and completely eliminate bulb glare

.Authentic Heavy Cast Base & Historic Hardware
The shade is supported by its original, sand-cast metal Art Nouveau base, heavily weighted and finished in its untouched factory antique brass/bronze patinated lacquer. The column features a distinct fluted footer, a tapered stem, and a beautifully molded ornamental band of stylized hearts encircling the upper neck.

Beneath the shade rests its original, high-quality, heavy-gauge brass dual-light socket cluster. The paddle/pull-chain fixtures retain their historical factory electrical stamps ("250W 250V"). The unit is capped perfectly with its original matching, perforated brass domed heat cap designed to vent rising warmth safely away from the art glass. See less
