This antique Khotan rug is defined by a balanced design centered on two large geometric medallions arranged along the vertical axis of the field. The spacious indigo ground is enriched with orderly rows of stylized floral motifs that create a quiet rhythm between the medallions, while angular corner spandrels reinforce the design with clarity and symmetry. A sequence of geometric and floral borders frames the field with measured precision, allowing each element to remain distinct without overwhelming the overall design.
