They have a chinoiserie peacock and botanical motif of peacocks, magnolia, wisteria, foliage, and butterflies on a rounded urn form with a flared neck, following the chinoiserie tradition that came into European decorative arts in the 17th and 18th centuries. Each lamp has a brass socket and a linen weave fabric wrapped neck. The style is chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency, and this pair of statement pieces suits English traditional and traditional interiors. The listing includes two lamps, and each measures 10 inches wide by 16 inches high, socket to base. Both lamps are in fully working condition. They are sold as lamp bases only, with the harp fittings, and no shades are included. Use them to flank a sofa, a console, or a bed, or on a dresser, a buffet, an entry table, or a mantel. See less
