Winkle & Co. at the Colonial Pottery works in Staffordshire, England. The central medallion illustrates a detailed landscape scene titled "General Meade's Headquarters," depicting the iconic Leister House framed by a picket fence under a softly cloud-filled sky, overlaid with a portrait of Union Major General George Meade. Encircling this central image is a wide, ornate border of densely packed oak leaves and acorns, which features four additional portrait cartouches highlighting key military commanders from both sides of the Civil War: Union Generals Winfield Scott Hancock and Henry Warner Slocum, alongside Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and James Longstreet.
