The segmented, mechanical body represents emotional scars, lived experiences, and internal contradictions that shape the self. Rather than hiding these fractures, the painting dignifies them. The implied mirror is psychological: the distorted perspective forces an uncomfortable closeness, emphasizing that self-examination is rarely flattering.
