Exhibiting an exceptionally rich, beautifully aged dark brown patina, this antique early 20th century handwoven willow twig gathering basket brings a timeless layer of organic texture and historic character to any interior curation. Handcrafted using a sturdy, thick-gauge weave, the circular form showcases the beautiful, honest variations of the natural wood that have softened and deepened through decades of time and use. A substantial, masterfully twisted top handle arches high over the deep basin, yielding a striking, sculptural silhouette.
Perfectly aligned with Dark Academia, Primitive Country, and Organic Modern sensibilities, this versatile harvest basket is ideal for displaying soft textiles, utilizing as a rustic hearth log holder, or standing alone as an architectural statement piece on an entry console or open shelving.
