Item Description
Up for your consideration is a truly sensational, highly decorative pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Regency ceramic cherub table lamps. Sourced from a premier northeastern Pennsylvania estate, this authentic matching pair beautifully captures the whimsical luxury of mid-century Italianate design.
Each lamp features a heavily modeled, creamy white ceramic pedestal column enveloped in sculpted floral vine work and foliage, upon which a classical cherub or putti figure perches. The columns support magnificent, matching spherical globes adorned with a hand-painted gold gilt starburst/sunburst matrix, with each star centered by a dimensional, ruby red glass or lucite cabochon jewel bead. When lit, the composition creates a striking, atmospheric glow.
Finding a complete, functional matching pair of these highly stylized lamps with all dimensional glass cabochon elements completely intact is an absolute rarity. A phenomenal, commanding accent lighting statement for Hollywood Regency bedrooms, Grandmillennial parlor consoles, or maximalist living spaces!

This vintage matching pair is in excellent, estate-fresh cosmetic and structural condition. - Ceramic & Glass: The ceramic bodies and globes remain completely free of hairline cracks, structural breaks, or major chips. All original ruby red dimensional cabochons are present, secure, and securely attached to the sunburst peaks. The hand-painted gold gilt star accents show only minimal, appropriate light vintage fading. - Electrical: Both lamps retain their original wiring and sockets, are completely functional, and turn on smoothly. As with all authentic vintage electrical lighting, checking or upgrading the cords to meet modern preferences is always suggested. Please review all high-definition photos carefully as they serve as the ultimate description of the cosmetic condition.
