High impact and bold X-Large studio pottery slab bowl. Its exterior features an embossed linen texture glazed in in a warm grey hue. The bowl interior is glazed in a range of grays with abstract blue brushed decoration Sgned "Pork" on the bottom and dated 2002.
Measures 16" diameter x 9" high.
Created bu "Pork" Lewis an artist and potter based in rural central Montana. His work reflects a global perspective gleaned. Inspired by over ninety years of global trotting. Originally raised in West Virginia - "Pork" (Carl) has lived London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bahrain, Kuwait, Johannesburg, and the Napa Valley. amongst others.
In very good condition - this bowl is structurally sound with no chips, glaze loss, crazing, or issues of note. Has an original kiln crack which is underglaze an inherent part of the piece. Pease see photos for details.
