this substantial solid walnut wardrobe, with two doors, is of exceptional quality and dates from the first half of the 18th century. It features a richly architectural façade with wide molded panels adorned with carved reserves and remarkable star-shaped marquetry medallions crafted from various wood species.

the decoration is enhanced by numerous carved and partially gilded ornaments: shells, scrolls, and foliage, culminating in an imposing central cartouche above the doors. The rounded uprights, the projecting cornice, and the toupie feet lend the piece remarkable elegance and presence.

the interior retains its original antique lock and hardware. The wardrobe maintains a beautiful, warm, and authentic patina. A few cracks and signs of wear, inherent to its age, are visible but do not detract from its character or sturdiness.
