Centered on a single large-scale motif that reads almost like a totem: a T-capped form at the top, a wide horizontal body with lateral extensions, and arrow and diamond shapes fanning outward below. All rendered in deep navy against an electric blue wool pile ground, with a small T-symbol visible at the left edge marking the original rug's border. Graphic and commanding at any distance.
Size: 16 x 16 inches / 40 x 40 cm. Cover only, insert not included.
Cut and hand-sewn from a section of vintage hand-knotted Anatolian wool rug. The tribal motifs are formed directly in the wool pile through the hand-knotting process. Not printed; the pattern is woven directly into the fabric structure. The partial border symbol at the left edge reflects where this section was taken from the original rug and adds to its character as a fragment..
