Cut and hand-sewn from a section of vintage hand-knotted Anatolian wool rug. The tribal motifs are formed directly in the wool pile through the hand-knotting process. Not printed; the pattern is woven directly into the fabric structure. The partial border symbol at the left edge reflects where this section was taken from the original rug and adds to its character as a fragment.. See less
