The GDA backstamp … Read more This is a hand painted condensed milk jar with lid by Gerard Dufraisseix and Abbot of Limoges. The GDA backstamp dates it back from 1900 to 1953 and I believe this is antique. The dish and lid are dark pink with purple grapes and green leaves. There are red grapes under the handles and both front and back (however you want to order them are shown, plus the red grapes. The variations in the grapes and leaves lead me to believe this was hand painted. The handles are gold painted, but dull and the lid has a gold rim with an unsuaul design that I did not get a picture of. It almost looks like someone was sketching grapes in gold on gold on the rim.

The Condensed milk jar measures 3 3/8 inches across the rim and base and it is 4.00 inches tall. The jar is 5 3/8 inches tall to the top of the handle.

The jar has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. It is marked as shown. There are some color variations, but again, I believe that is from the hand painting. See less
