Purchased in the mid-to-late 2000s from Mieman Marcus, this piece showcases the peak of Mediterranean Revival craftsmanship. Crafted with exceptional structural integrity, the armoire features premium cathedral cherry and exotic avodire wood veneers finished in a rich, multi-step Warm Pomegranate stain. The exterior is heavily adorned with traditional, hand-carved details, featuring intricate acanthus leaf corner pilasters, robust molding, robust bun feet, and a striking, monumental crown crest. Beautifully antiqued brass hardware accents the front face. Designed to accommodate a television (interior electrical outlet and opening for cables), if desired, this piece functions beautifully as a luxury wardrobe, linen closet, or statement storage cabinet for a master bedroom, executive office (printer, coffee machine), or grand living room. A rod is provided for hanging clothes in the upper section, or the removable, adjustable shelves may be used instead.
