This antique oak hall bench brings real presence to an entryway. The high paneled back which once had a mirror with hooks, was discovered without and a row of new blue hooks make it a natural landing spot for coats, hats, and bags. The seat lifts to reveal hidden storage for shoes, gloves, or seasonal odds and ends. Great in a hallway, mudroom, or foyer, anywhere you want a place to sit and pull on your shoes with storage that keeps clutter out of sight.
Crafted from quarter sawn oak, it features curved arms over turned spindle supports and a carved shell motif across the apron. Victorian in style, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
