Decorated in underglaze blue with a mountainous Chinese village with houses, mountains, foliage, and a river and boat.

The lid with an applied foo dog/Buddhist lion finial, and the applied split handle with flower devices where it meets the body

Simply a wonderful example of Chinese porcelain!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There is an old professional repair to the spout and the handle, some firing flaws here and there (especially to the edges of the handle), and some small chips and fritting to the footrim. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
