An elegant solid oak pitcher with a brass band, crafted by Gérard Lafitte and bearing the "Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1933" (Best Craftsman of France 1933) mark.
Its silhouette, inspired by antique barrels, combined with a large brass handle and meticulous woodwork, makes it a distinctive decorative piece, representative of French craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
The body is made of oak staves joined and banded with riveted brass strips. The neck and handle, also in brass, display a beautiful original patina that underscores its authenticity.
