An elegant geometric-style wall sconce dating back to 1970s Italy. The square structure (30 x 30 cm) is 15 cm deep and features four internal light sources.
The design features a composition of white opaline glass, divided into geometric panels framed by patinated gold metal. The effect is decorative and refined, with Art Deco references in its symmetry and use of precious materials.
The opaline glass used—also known as lattimo glass—is characterized by a milky finish, achieved through the addition of opacifying substances (such as sodium phosphate, tin oxide, etc.). This type of glass was first developed in Murano in the 16th century and is distinguished by its delicate hues and its ability to diffuse light softly and evenly.
