The design dates back to 1962, when Guzzini first introduced it as “The modern multi-purpose Tray,” though this particular example is a later production run from the 1970s. Made of glossy white plastic with folding legs, it converts effortlessly from a flat serving tray into a stable bed table.

The original packaging illustrates its intended versatility: breakfast in bed, coffee table use in the living room, a play surface for children, and a portable tray for the beach — a true “jolly” (all-purpose) design for every room and occasion.

The piece is marked with the original gold Guzzini label on the underside, reading “Made in Italy” and “per alimenti” (food-safe), confirming its authenticity.

Condition: The tray itself is in excellent vintage condition, with clean glossy white plastic and no cracks or discoloration. It comes complete with its original box, which shows honest wear consistent with age — including some creasing and torn corners — but remains fully intact and displays the original graphics and Guzzini branding clearly.
