Called in french a semainier, which is a particular form of ragman. It has seven drawers, one per day of the week, to store the clean linen of the day and especially the underwear. H 157 x w 65 x d 42 cm provenance private collection. Considered to be by blanche klotz according to family tradition. History a homogeneous set, circa 1935-1937, comparable to various contemporary works by blanche klotz, including furniture made for the minister of finance, vincent auriol, now in the mobilier national collection. Furniture with upper space designed for a zenithal lighting system, now absent, which could be reinstalled. See less
