Glazed ceramic lamp with glass inclusions – 1970s work
This substantial, wheel-thrown ceramic table lamp, baluster-shaped with a wide handle, is crafted in the Brutalist and artisanal style of the 1970s.
The surface features a beautiful, nuanced brown glaze with firing effects, highlighted by subtle vertical drips. The body is perforated with circular holes and adorned with four large reserves filled with inclusions of fused colored glass in shades of amber, green, blue, and orange. When lit, the lamp diffuses a warm light that particularly accentuates these translucent inclusions.
Electrical components are in place (operation should be verified according to the standards in force in the country of use).
A high-quality decorative piece, characteristic of European ceramic production in the 1970s, equally at home in a vintage or contemporary interior.
Condition: very good condition, with no cracks or repairs observed. Some signs of wear consistent with age.
