Blades: reverse-tanto / kiritsuke profile — angled clipped tips, tall flat bellies, exaggerated choil cutout at the heel. Not Western chef geometry at all.
Handles: octagonal-ish tapered wa-style handles, dark stained (ebonized) wood, brass ferrule/bolster and brass pin rivets. Wa-handle construction.
Stand: wedge-shaped, speckled composite (Corian/solid-surface) — very late-80s/90s Memphis-adjacent postmodern.
Finish: mirror-polished, laser-etched maker's mark.
