This Nambé cast-aluminum alloy bowl features the organic, biomorphic curves characteristic of mid-century design. Designed by sculptor and artist Richard K. Thomas in 1967, the piece relies on a fluid, asymmetrical tri-corner silhouette that functions as both a utilitarian vessel and a sculptural object. It serves equally well as a tabletop centerpiece, a small fruit bowl, or a clean accent piece for a sideboard.
