An uncommon Slak-Rak wall organizer retaining its original Samuel Applestone Co., Seattle label.
The elongated horizontal slats, tapered profile, and clean geometry reflect the streamlined influence of late Art Deco and Streamline Moderne design. Crafted from hardwood with a warm original finish, the rack has a distinctive presence while remaining compact and highly functional.
The original "Slak-Rak" name suggests it was intended for organizing slacks, though today it is equally well suited for magazines, records, mail, or books.
The underside retains its original manufacturer's label reading:
"Slak-Rak – Copyrighted by Samuel Applestone Co., Seattle."
