An exceptional pair of signed Gazelle Art Glass hand-blown tropical fish salt and pepper shakers, acquired from a private Jupiter Island, Florida estate.
Each pedestal-form shaker is individually engraved Gazelle '95 and showcases brilliantly executed applied tropical fish in vivid ruby and cobalt blue against elegant optic-swirl clear glass. These sculptural pieces blur the line between functional tableware and collectible American studio art glass.
Standing approximately 5 inches tall with 2½-inch diameter bases, the pair remains in very good vintage condition. The brass-toned tops exhibit a pleasing age-related patina to the interior, while the glass is free from chips, cracks, and repairs.
Beautiful displayed in a coastal interior, alongside a studio glass collection, or as distinctive tabletop décor.
