There is … Read more Nostalgically lovely painting by noted British artist Richard Allam of the Lynmouth Harbor as it was long ago. There is a label on the back. The second line reads North Devon, but I couldn't make out the top line. The painting is fresh from a Virginia estate and is in excellent condition. The only issue I found were a couple of touch-up dots lower right in the water, see photo before the one of the back. Oil on canvas c. late 19th c., 16" x 26" in an appropriate but newer gold frame. Outside frame dimensions are 20" x 30"
