Vintage Italian table lamp carved from solid alabaster, with a classical urn-form silhouette, square base, and softly carved foliate detail around the body. The stone has warm natural veining throughout.
The lamp has been restored with new wiring, a solid brass socket, and an ivory twisted cloth cord, and paired with a tailored linen shade. A quiet, sculptural piece for a bedside table, entry console, library, or living room side table.
Marked Italy on the inside.

The alabaster has natural veining and tonal variation throughout, along with a few small edge nicks and one larger chip to the back corner of the base, as shown. The chip is not visible when the lamp is displayed from the front. Newly rewired with a solid brass socket and ivory twisted cloth cord; tested and ready for use. Linen shade is new.
