A 17th century Edo Period Japanese screen telling a pastoral story of white ducks floating on a blue stream surrounded by water lillies, small larks and golden mountains in the distance with forest of Pine and growths of White Chrysanthamums and red Dalias. If you close your eyes, you can hear the brook babbling and the ducks quacking as they move down stream. This screen is so peaceful and so elegant.
All of the hinges have been replaced and new backing put on. It has been restored as recommended by Gracie Studio who did the restoration.
