This antique Indian armoire in warm bleached teak has the balanced, unhurried proportions of old Indian craftsmanship: open above to display, closed below to store. A stepped cornice crowns the piece with quiet confidence.
Solid teak, hand-built, with glass-paned upper doors and solid raised-panel lower doors. Small brass handles at each section. The wood has aged to a warm, sandy tone, neither too pale nor too dark, the neutral of something that has earned its place. Original iron hinges throughout.
