Both an eminent student and influential instructor of the New York Academy of Art, Brian Gorst is a highly recognized master of Classical drawing. With expert technical skill, Gorst makes his linework intricate and graceful, and is able to present the male figure striving to contain strength and virility.
His work also extends to classical landscapes and still-lifes. Beside presenting exemplary drawing skills, Gorst also master oil painting and produced an instructional book, The Complete Oiil Painter in 2003.
