A Swedish ceramic wall plaque by Heinz Erret for Gustavsberg, circa 1970s, featuring the White Water Lily motif with raised silver decoration over a deep blue glazed ceramic ground.
This rectangular wall relief depicts the white water lily, the provincial flower of Södermanland, in a graphic Scandinavian Modern composition. Stylized lily pads and blossoms are arranged across the blue ceramic surface, with silver decoration that catches the light beautifully. The piece has a quiet, architectural quality and works well as a small wall object, shelf accent, or part of a collected grouping of Swedish ceramics and decorative art.
Designed by Heinz Erret for Gustavsberg. The reverse is marked Gustavsberg, as pictured.
Good vintage condition with light handling marks and minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No known restorations or modifications. Ready to hang or display.
