Lemania three-button split-seconds pocket chronometer. Switzerland, 1960s/1970s
period 1960s/1970s
brand lemania is a swiss company founded in 1884 by alfred lugrin that specialized in the manufacture of watch movements. In 1932, it became part of the ssih holding company, initiating a close collaboration with tissot and omega. In addition to sports chronometers and marine chronometers, lemania designed various 13- and 15-line chronograph calibers, becoming the official supplier to armed forces and sports organizations worldwide. The brand was later acquired by breguet and is now part of the swatch group
