However, most of these items have never actually seen the inside of a factory floor, and the naturally occurring signs of wear and tear are completely absent. Our workbench, on the other hand, shows clear signs of decades of use. Nothing is concealed – just unvarnished aesthetics. Instead of perfection, the honesty of the material takes center stage. The solid beechwood tabletop has countless scratches, stains, and holes from where a machine was mounted. The table frame also has scratches and discoloration. The individual drawer parts are joined with dovetail joints. The drawer is a bit stiff, and the key is missing. Although the table is far from perfect, it doesn't look shabby and deserves a second life. All sharp edges have been sanded down, and the entire table has been oiled. It would be well-suited as a work or kitchen table. It would also look great in an entryway, perhaps paired with a beautiful, large lamp. Length: 130 cm. See less
