This beautiful French Louis XV style side table dates to around 1870 and showcases elegant marquetry, graceful curved lines, and finely cast bronze doré trim.
The shaped top features a lovely floral marquetry design surrounded by an ornate bronze gallery. A pull-out writing slide opens to reveal a beautifully finished interior with original bronze doré hinges, making it as functional as it is decorative.
The table stands on graceful cabriole legs with bronze mounts and sabots, giving it the timeless elegance French furniture is known for. Its size makes it perfect as a side table, writing table, or accent piece in a living room, bedroom, or entryway.
A wonderful late 19th century French piece that combines beauty, craftsmanship and everyday practicality.
