Raised on elegant tapered legs, this whimsical piece features nine spacious drawers adorned with floral swags and classic brass pulls, offering both beauty and functionality.
The dimensions of the desk are perfect for an adult, teen or child. It has refined proportions but a romantic palette that make it equally at home in a woman's dressing area or a child's room, a feminine home office or a bedroom. The hand painted decoration is Julia Gray's signature from her collection of bespoke bench made furniture. If one is not familiar with Julie Gray it is sadly now no longer in business but at one time was a premier source for interior designers for exceptional quality bench made furniture. All production was in New York and the pieces were made entirely in the United States by artisans. This quality is difficult to find at this price.
The decoration continues across the sides, a hallmark of the quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
This piece is versatile. It can serve as a writing desk, vanity, or statement accent in a sophisticated nursery.
