This very chic and hard to find Mid Century Modern brass box by Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths is all hallmarked on the back. This was originally used by butler's at elite dinner parties in the 50's and 60's to brush the crumbs in. Today the usage is for a great box for a cocktail table, desk, console or entry way. It can be even used for a candy dish or barware. Tommi Parzinger came from an elite wealthy family and hung in those circles. It was polished professionally and then lacquered so it will not tarnish. The handle height is higher than the listed height.
It has the classic lines of Parzinger and design. These are not on the marketplace now except for ours.
