Elegant Austrian table lamp, attributed to Carl Auböck and produced in the spirit of Werkstätte Carl Auböck. This sculptural lamp combines a dark, organic carved wood tripod base with a gently arched brass stem and a large off-white curved metal shade.
The three-pronged black wood base gives the lamp a distinctive handcrafted presence, while the slender brass arm rises in a graceful arc to support the wide half-dome reflector. A pull-chain switch hangs discreetly below the shade, providing convenient operation. The restrained mix of natural wood, brass, and ivory metal is characteristic of Austrian Mid-Century Modern design.
