Large white ironstone soupière by Creil et Montereau. Marked on base: B. & Cie, Creil et Montereau, Déposé, dating production to the Barluet & Cie period, circa 1876–1884.Pedestal foot, scrolled side handles, domed lid with molded foliate detail and ring finial.
This is the large of three soupières. The medium and small are listed separately and can be displayed together as a set.
White glaze throughout.
Sourced in L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Condition: Light crazing to interior and marks on exterior consistent with age, no staining.
